In this newsletter, we cordially invite you to take part in our PIWI International Wine Challenge 2025 and also recommend this year's PIWI-Wine trip to South Moravia. Curious? PIWI International Wine Challenge 2025 - submit wines now!
Registration for the PIWI International Wine Challenge 2025 is open!
After last year's successful collaboration, we are very pleased to be organising the tasting again with the National Wine Centre in Valtice (CZ):
➡️ Tasting: 31 July 2025
🗓️ Submission deadline: 23 July 2025
📦 Sample Delivery: 16-23 July 2025 (week 29/30)
For organisational reasons, all wine samples must be sent in between 16 and 23 July!

🔹 Per sample: 2 fully filled bottles (0.75l or 0.5l)
🔹 Cost for members: €85/sample (from the 3rd sample: €50/sample)

PIWI International Wine Tour to South Moravia - register now!
This year's members' wine tour takes us to South Moravia, known for its impressive wine landscapes and rich history.starting from Lednicewe will visit large and small wineries around the historically significant towns of Znojmo, Mikulov and Valtice.
Numerous expert discussions with winemakers, oenologists and growers will give us a deep insight into the local wine industry and the special features of this region, which will also delight history and culinary enthusiasts.
🗓️ Travel period: 31 July to 3 August 2025 (3 Nights)
📍 Location: Lednice, Czech Republic
➡️ Overnight stay: Pension/Hotel*
*We have pre-reserved some rooms, the booking must then be made by you
🔹 Cost for members: 280€* per person, without accommodation
Each member can bring one accompanying person at the same price (280€)
🔹 Cost for non-members: €350* per person, excluding accommodation
*Includes bus transportation, all wine tastings, vineyard and city tours and all evening and lunch catering

Save the Date - Upcoming Highlights & Events

PIWI World Summit Berlin 7 - 8 November 2025
This two-day event is the world's largest gathering of PIWI winegrowers, PIWI producers, PIWI researchers, vine nurseries and PIWI enthusiasts to share experiences and knowledge.
All visitors are invited to taste high quality PIWI wines and celebrate the success of the PIWI movement over the last 25 years with us.
Another highlight of this event will be the award and certificate ceremonies of the PIWI International Wine Challenge and the new German PIWI Wine Award.
