The spread of resistant varieties in Europe, and particularly in the countries studied, has consolidated over the years. Germany in particular has been the reference for Italy in adopting VR. We have 36 types of wine in the National Register, plus 2 for special purposes. Of these 36, 12 come from the Freiburg Research Institute and are the work of the breeder Norbert Becker.
