National Association PIWI Austria

The PIWI Austria association is a regional group under the umbrella organisation PIWI International. The aims of the association are the promotion and exchange of scientific and practical knowledge in the field of fungus-resistant grape varieties and the support of their cultivation and development in Austria. In addition to general meetings, excursions (vineyard tours), advice, lectures, information series and wine presentations, the association organises the annual "New/Innovative Grape Varieties" wine competition for PIWI wines from Austria. As a member of PIWI Austria, you are also a member of PIWI International.
