Mohr-Gutting organic winery
Germany - Palatinate www.mohr-gutting.de   Winery description: What is still fascinating in the wine scene today are individualists who make wines according to their taste, temperament and character, who protect the richness, the unmistakable of their region and deepen it through their work. As a graduate engineer in construction my father started all over again and went to apprenticeship with his wife. At that time she was the only master winemaker in the Palatinate. And the story repeats itself. My husband, Michael Kraus, also married into the winery as a stranger to the industry and is now learning the trade from his wife. Today we work together on 17 hectares of vineyards with a focus on Riesling and Burgundy vines. Passion for wine means following the whole process - from growing the fruit, processing it to the final product. We ourselves are the yardstick for the quality of our wines. This gives rise to obligation and trust. |
