The PIWI International Wine Challenge is much more than a competition - it is a stage for the future of wine. PIWI wines from all over the world compete here and impressively demonstrate the level of quality that these innovative grape varieties can achieve today.
The aim is to discover and honour the best PIWI wines and to make their appeal visible far beyond the professional world. At the same time, a unique international comparison is created that allows the diversity of origin, the signature of the winemakers and the special features of the regions to be experienced through the senses.
The Wine Challenge offers winegrowers the opportunity to prove themselves on the international stage, to network and to be part of a dynamic, forward-looking movement - a movement that is having a lasting impact on viticulture.

This year's PIWI International Wine Challenge 2026 will take place on 29 June 2026.
As in the previous year, the competition will be organised by the Národní vinařské centrum, o.p.s. (National Wine Centre) Valtice, Czech Republic, in cooperation with PIWI International, with the wines being judged according to the 100-point scheme (OIV).

Preparations are already in full swing and registration will start soon.
