PIWI Deutschland e.V. was founded in winter 2020 as a national association of PIWI International. As part of the international network, the association pursues the goal of making fungus-resistant grape varieties (PIWIs) more visible in the wine world - both among winegrowers and wine lovers. The association is committed to promoting the spread of PIWI grape varieties in Germany, fostering professional exchange and focussing on the special features of these varieties.
