We are pleased to announce you “PIWI Wines: exploring global perspectives starting from Solaris”, an appointment to discuss about challenges and opportunities involving PIWI Wines producers coming from all around the world, and to discover the territory of Carnia, a true heritage of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The event will take place on May 3rd and 4th, 2024, in Forni di Sotto (UD), a small town in the north east of Italy where the Solaris grape achieved excellent results thanks to the peculiarities of this mountainous area.
The program will include:

technical sessions in the morning with wine producers, journalists, and sommeliers;

masterclasses and wine tasting with all the Resistant varieties will follow in the afternoon;

two dinners: typical menus from Carnia will be paired with PIWI Wines, a pleasant moment to discover biodiversity. Many local producers will offer the excellent typical dishes of Carnia.
We really would like to share with you an experience of training and discussion in an atmosphere of great hospitality.
This event has been promoted by ADALT (Local Business Network) in collaboration with PIWI International, both of them really engaged to support a more sustainable viticulture.
